Although it was originally used to simply archive documents and finding them immediately when needed, we added several options after many customer requests. Automatic archiving, workflows and integration with other products are only some of these features.

Koen is not only the CEO & founder of MEGA-doc and SMARTdoc™, Koen also carries more than 20 years of experience in the document management world. Koen started his career as a Sales Manager at Logic, a Benelux based ICT system integrator. In 1999 Koen started up MEGA-doc, the developer of MDMS, a worldwide software solution company in cancer and AIDS research within pharmaceutical and university hospital based research centers. After the successful deployment of this logistic tool, Koen started a second company SMARTdoc, unique and affordable documanagement became his next goal.
With a solid track record within document companies such as Xerox and Ricoh, and software companies such as SAP and ESRI, Tom is responsible for the business development for the entire SMARTdoc™ solution portfolio. Tom knows the ICT world inside out, and has a solid passion to work with resellers and partners. With a genuine knowledge on the motivators and challenges for his partners he can and will make the difference in guiding you to make a success out of your documanagement solution.
As the most experienced asset at SMARTdoc, Jaak has proved himself to be a real added value to our documanagement solution portfolio and our customers. Jaak is personally responsible for the training of many enthusiastic SMARTdoc users. His project management skills and no-nonsense approach make him one of the key figures in the success of SMARTdoc.
Starting as the responsible ICT manager at political organisation, Kristof gathered himself a track record of managing multiple challenges. Taking up the responsibility as IT manager, setting up a service helpdesk, or managing entire implementations as a project manager, Kristof has been there and left his mark. Since taking up his new challenge at SMARTdoc, Kristof has become the inspirational and organisational architect of all future SMARTdoc releases.
